It is the first product to emerge from SpaceXAI’s $60 billion acquisition of Anysphere, the company behind the Cursor coding assistant, and it arrives as a direct challenge to Anthropic’s Claude Cowork and OpenAI’s ChatGPT Work in the fast-growing market for persistent enterprise AI agents.
What Grok Bot Actually Does
The core idea is straightforward: you create a Bot, give it a role, and message it like a colleague. It then takes the work from start to finish.
Each Bot runs on its own dedicated cloud computer. It signs into the tools and websites your team already uses, including platforms with no API or MCP endpoint, navigating their interfaces the way a person would. It keeps working after your laptop closes. When it needs a judgment call, it comes back and asks. When the job is done, it delivers results.

The $120 per seat entry point positions Grok Bot at roughly two to three times the price of most SaaS productivity tools, but well below the cost of a dedicated human employee for the tasks it targets: outbound research, CRM updates, expense processing, and operational workflows.
